About Tony Pulford History
Tony Pulford is a genealogist and local historian. Unravelling forgotten stories and creating new narratives, he focuses on he often overlooked lives and journeys of our ancestors. Weaving together historical records, personal testimonies and newpaper archives he researches people, buildings and landscapes, helping us better understand the choices and developments that have shaped how we live today.
He enjoys creating and presenting talks on genealogy and heritage to societies and residential homes. He also volunteers at Eastbourne Library to help with genealogy and local history enquiries.
He has concentrated his own research on East Sussex, Grantham, Liverpool, Nottingham, Sheffield, South East London and Co Wexford and Co Wicklow along with Calais, France and has extensive experience in researching these areas.
Now based in Eastbourne, East Sussex Tony is an active member of numerous societies and a committee member of Family Roots Eastbourne.
